The past 4 years of my life have changed me for a lifetime...and I can proudly say that Ms. Erica Morris did everything in her power to make my dreams literally become reality!

When I was in 12th grade, thinking about what I wanted to do after graduation, I worried a bit because I didn't know how to navigate exploring colleges abroad. Thankfully, I was involved in Junior Achievement New Providence where Ms. Morris served as the scholarship advisor. She sat and listened intently to all my plans and aspirations, and developed a strategic plan/approach on how to prepare me to find the school of my dreams.

   After studying for the SAT's and attending several college recruitment events, the blessing that is now my Alma Mater—Morgan State, fell into my lap. Ms. Morris has an amazing rapport with so many different admissions recruiters who are excited about bringing Bahamian minds and talents to their institutions. She continued to work with me as I applied to Morgan and sought my Honors scholarship (full ride). She also ensured that I was fully aware of the other Bahamian students who had gone to Morgan the year before me and were already achieving great things. A mentor, a guide, a personal cheerleader in your corner—all things that Ms. Morris embodies. My life-changing college experience would not have been the same without her!!
